Need something done that you can't — or just don't want to do? Post it!

YoZombie connects people like you with local gig workers — so when a job comes up around your yard, driveway, or property, post it!

Every property has things that need to get done that you don't have the time, tools, or extra hands for.

Moving something. Cleaning something up. Clearing something out. Hauling something away. Taking care of that outdoor job that's been sitting on the list.

That's what YoZombie is for.

Post the gig and local independent gig workers can take it on.

No calling around. No chasing people down. No turning it into a whole ordeal. Just get it off your list and move on.

Post it. Get it done. Get back to your life.

Three steps. Done before the weekend.

  1. 1

    Post your job

Describe what needs doing, add a photo or two, set one fixed price, and post — right from your phone.

  2. 2

    A local worker accepts

A nearby worker claims your job. You'll see their name and can message them to work out the details.

  3. 3

    It gets done. You approve.

The worker checks in with a QR code, or completes a remote job and submits it. You confirm it's done — and only then does payment release.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost?
You set one fixed price for the whole job — never hourly. YoZombie adds a flat platform fee ($12, $15, $20, or $25 depending on the job's price) plus a service fee covering payment processing, both shown before you pay. No subscriptions and no percentage of the job.
What kinds of jobs can I post?
Outdoor, no-entry tasks with a clear, verifiable result — haul away an item or pile, move items to a spot, clear branches, leaves, or snow from an area, and curbside, driveway, or garage help. It isn't for licensed trade work (electrical, plumbing, roofing, and the like), in-home care, or anything requiring a permit or license.
How do I know the work gets done before I pay?
You approve it. For in-person jobs the worker scans a check-in QR to start and a checkout QR to finish (or you tap Confirm Completion), which releases payment. For remote jobs, the worker submits the finished job and payment releases only after you tap Accept.
Does YoZombie run background checks on workers?
No. YoZombie is a marketplace and does not verify a worker's identity, background, or licensing. You decide whether a worker and a task are right for your home. A worker's reviews and history can help, but the choice is yours.
Is my home address shown to everyone?
No. Before you accept, workers see only your general area (like your ZIP or neighborhood). Your exact address is shared only with the worker you accept.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancel before a worker accepts, or more than an hour before the start time, and your worker pay and platform fee come back. The service fee isn't returned — that's the payment processing already charged. Within an hour of the start, a $10 payment goes to the worker for holding the time and the rest is refunded to you.
What if the worker never shows or doesn't finish?
If a worker doesn't check in within the window, or doesn't submit a remote job by the deadline, you can cancel for a full refund and the worker is paid nothing.
Can I use this for my business or rental property?
No — the Personal side is for your own household or residential needs. Businesses, rentals, and property management should use the Business side.
Can I request the same worker again?
Yes. Save any worker you liked to your private My Workers list and send them your next job directly — no need to start over.
One worker, or several?
Each job is for one worker. If a task really needs two people, it may not be a fit for the Personal side right now.
