For Businesses
Need something done? Post it!
YoZombie connects businesses like yours with local gig workers — so when an annoying, non-operational task comes up that still needs to get done, post it!
Every business has things that need to get done that aren't really part of the business.
Moving something. Cleaning something up. Setting something up. Hauling something away. Taking care of that job nobody has time for.
That's what YoZombie is for.
Post the gig and local independent gig workers can take it on.
No chasing people down. No turning it into a whole ordeal. Just get it off your plate and move on.
Post it. Get it done. Get back to business.
Three steps. Minutes, not weeks.

Why Local Businesses Choose YoZombie
- Help when you need it. Skip the phone tag. Post a gig and a local worker comes to you — no waiting, no wasted time.
- Flat pricing. No surprises. One simple fee per gig. No percentages, no agency markups, no hidden costs.
- Build your trusted roster. After a great gig, save that worker and send them direct offers next time — so you're never starting from scratch again.
- Independent by design. Workers accept gigs independently, and YoZombie doesn't process payroll for them. Any worker-classification, tax, or employment obligations that apply are determined by the working relationship and applicable law.
- Run it from your phone. Post gigs, message workers, and pay — all in one app.

Frequently Asked Questions
- How much does YoZombie cost for businesses?
- YoZombie charges a flat fee per gig posted — $12, $15, $20, or $25 depending on the tier — plus a service fee that covers payment processing, shown before you pay. No percentage markups, no agency fees, no monthly subscription. If the gig is canceled or no worker accepts, refunds follow the cancellation and expiration rules.
- What industries does YoZombie serve?
- Restaurants, food service, retail, events, hospitality, physical labor, and seasonal businesses. If tasks come up that need doing on short notice — and they're not really part of what your business does — YoZombie is built for you.
- How quickly can I find a gig worker through YoZombie?
- You can post a gig in minutes from the app. Nearby workers see the posting in real time and can accept immediately. YoZombie is built for same-day and short-notice help.
- Do I need to handle payroll for YoZombie workers?
- YoZombie does not employ workers or process payroll for them, and workers independently choose which gigs to accept. Whether any worker-classification, tax, or employment obligation applies depends on the actual relationship and applicable law — the responsibility of the posting business. Payment is processed through the app when the gig is completed.
- How does the QR code check-in system work?
- When a worker arrives, you display a QR code in the YoZombie app. The worker scans it to officially start the gig. At the end, you confirm completion at checkout — a checkout QR scan or Confirm Completion tap — which releases payment. You get a verified record of exact start and end times.
- What happens if a worker doesn't show up?
- If a worker fails to check in and you confirm a no-show, you receive a full refund. The worker receives no payment. No-show incidents are tracked and affect the worker's standing on the platform.
- What types of workers are available on YoZombie?
- Workers set their skills and availability when they sign up — covering restaurants, retail, physical labor, events, and general service work. You can filter by skills and location when you post.
- Can I request the same worker again after a good experience?
- Yes. Save any worker to your roster and send them direct private offers for future gigs. No need to search every time — build your own go-to team.
- How does "Trusted By" help me find reliable workers?
- "Trusted By" on a worker's profile shows how many businesses have added them to their roster. It's a real signal — businesses only save workers they want back. A high count means other operators in your area have already vouched for that person.
- Can I post a gig for multiple workers at once?
- YoZombie currently uses a one-worker-per-gig model. If you need multiple workers, post one gig per slot. Each gig has its own flat fee and its own worker.
- What happens if no workers accept my gig?
- If no worker accepts by the start time, the gig expires and you receive a full refund. You are never charged for a gig where no worker showed up.
- What happens if I need to cancel a posted gig?
- Cancel more than an hour before the start time and your worker pay and platform fee come back. The service fee isn't returned — that's the payment processing already charged on the original payment. Cancel inside the hour and $15 goes to the worker for holding the time; the rest comes back to you. If nobody accepts your gig, or the worker doesn't show up, you get everything back — service fee included.
- Is there a subscription or monthly fee?
- No. YoZombie has no monthly fee for businesses. You only pay the flat gig fee when you post and a worker accepts. Nothing owed if you don't post.
- Is YoZombie available in my area?
- YoZombie is launching in Maryland first, with expansion to additional states through 2026, 2027, and 2028. Join the waitlist above to be notified when we go live in your area.
