We work with creators across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms. YouTube is our primary focus, but we're open to all creators with an engaged audience.

When do I get paid?

Referral earnings accumulate in your account and are paid out through Stripe. When we approve your application, we'll send you a link to get set up — payout details and instructions are included. There's no minimum threshold required before you receive a payout.

Once set up, earnings are deposited directly to your bank account. YoZombie never holds your earnings — payouts go straight to you through Stripe as they accumulate.

Are my referral earnings taxable?

Yes. Referral earnings are income and it is your responsibility to report them. You are not a YoZombie employee — you are an independent partner. YoZombie does not withhold taxes from referral payouts. We strongly recommend consulting a tax professional about how referral income applies to your personal tax situation.

Will I receive a 1099?

Referral payouts are processed through Stripe Connect, which handles automated tax reporting. If your referral earnings reach the applicable IRS reporting threshold, Stripe will issue a 1099-NEC form to you at the end of the tax year. You may be required to provide your tax information (such as a W-9) during payout setup.

Where does the $2 referral payment come from — does it affect what workers earn?

No. The $2 referral payment comes entirely from YoZombie's platform fee — never from the worker's pay. Workers keep 100% of what the business pays them. The referral commission is paid by YoZombie, not deducted from anyone else's earnings.
